Lending Library of games, reading resources, projects, and activities that families can use to help their kids succeed in school.

FamilyTies Incline lends games, books, project kits, and other fun things to help kids learn to read, increase their vocabulary, improve math skills, and explore science and art activities.

We want to encourage older siblings (in school) to read and do projects with younger siblings. The best indicator of school success is a child's vocabulary at age 4 - whether their first language is English or Spanish. Having older siblings talk and play with younger siblings helps both the older sibling improve their skills and helps the younger one.

Here are our lending policies:
  • There is no cost to borrow our items. Families and students earn points for using our items, which will be redeemable for rewards and prizes.
  • We try to provide everything needed to complete a project. ALL projects must be returned with unused items so that we can restock the project for another user.
  • All communication will be done through texting and emails, using the text number provided when you sign up.
  • Items are borrowed for 2 weeks. They can be renewed if the item has not been reserved by another user.
  • You will receive a text message reminding you to return the borrowed items.
  • Borrowed items can be returned to the Incline Library or any Incline public school. When you return the item, please use your cell phone's camera to take a picture of the QR code to report that you are returning the item and to rate your experience with it.
  • FamilyTies Incline has the right to refuse service to any person or family for any reason, and will discontinue service if items are not returned or there is intentional destruction of our resources.
  • By participating in this program, you are giving FamilyTies Incline the right to consult with school authorities about your child's reading and math skills, so that we can help them meet grade level standards. We will notify you via email of any actions that we would like to take.
  • At any point, families or students may request additional support from us to help their child reach grade level standards.
